Point your camera at any object and tap the capture button. The app uses Apple's Vision framework to analyze the image and determine if it's a hot dog or not. It's that simple!
The camera is essential to capture images for classification. Without camera access, the app cannot function. All image processing happens locally on your device - nothing is uploaded to any server.
The app uses a confidence threshold of 80%. This means it will only identify something as a hot dog if the AI is at least 80% confident. This helps reduce false positives while maintaining good detection accuracy.
Absolutely! Not Hot Dog processes all images entirely on your device. No photos or data are ever uploaded to any server. We don't collect any personal information, analytics, or usage data. Your privacy is guaranteed.
Currently, sounds play automatically with results. You can mute your device or use the silent switch to disable sounds. We may add a sound toggle in a future update.
Not Hot Dog requires iOS 17.0 or later and works on iPhone and iPad. For best results, use a device with a modern camera.
Try these steps: 1) Force close and reopen the app, 2) Restart your device, 3) Make sure you're running the latest iOS version, 4) Reinstall the app. If problems persist, please contact us.
